• 4^th Annual Mardi Gras Crawfish & Shrimp Boil

  Robert Wallace Catering will be cooking up crawfish, shrimp, potatoes and corn on the cob. With your $20 ticket you'll receive dinner, wine or beer and a great time with the rest of your community. Tickets on sale now.

  Location: NC Maritime Museum at Southport
  Come hear Donnie Joyner discuss the African-American struggles, triumphs and their dedication to the Lower Cape Fear from the 1920s to 70s. The program is free to the public.
• Tea Time Downton Abbey Style
  February 21, 2015
  1:30 - 4:30PM
  Location: Southport Community Building
  Enjoy a vintage afternoon full of gourmet teas, petite sandwiches and other tea-time treats. Listen to live period music, see vintage fashion, hear a "Tea Talk" highlighting the history of tea and a silent auction. All proceeds benefit the Brunswick Little Theatre. Tickets are $35, with table reservations for up to 8 available.
• P.E.O Antique Appraisal Fair

  Location: Southport Community Building
  The Philanthropic Educational Organization is sponsoring the annual Antique Appraisal Fair. Certified appraisers will examine up to three of your treasured antiques and see how much they're worth! Tickets can be bought at the door and cost $7 per item or three tickets for $20. All proceeds go toward college scholarships, educational loans and financial assistance for women to "further their college education."
